The International Center for Social Research (ICSR) recognizes a wide range of contributions to the sociological discipline. Honoring the best, ICSR presents awards for outstanding scholarship, teaching, practice, and public understanding of sociology.
Established in December 2018, ICSR Award for Excellence in Research and Practice is awarded by the International Center for Social Research to a person who advances and promotes sociological knowledge and practice through outstanding contributions to the discipline, the profession, and the ICSR.
The award will be presented at a special ICSR awards ceremony. The award recipient will receive:
• A plaque: ICSR Award for Excellence in Research and Practice.
• Announcement of the Award in the press releases, newsletters and on the ICSR website.
ICSR members are encouraged to submit nominations for ICSR Awards. Award selection committees, review nominations and select the winners.
Supporting material in building the case for the award should be the responsibility of the nominators.
